It's been a while..............

.............as Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) said in Scary Movie. Funny how little phrases remind you of certain films isn't it?


It's been another week that's just flown by. We went to Tropical Wings on Sunday. We went about the same time last year and the kids absolutely loved it; and even more so this year. There have been a few improvments since last year - some of the animals have new homes. The kids' fave (and mine!) was the wallaby enclosure; you can walk right into it and get to feed/stroke the wallabies. There were several babies and I got a great pic of one that was a little too big to squeeze into his mummy's pouch but he wasn't going to let that hold him back.

It's been a funny old week. Danielle and Charlie couldn't go to preschool on Monday because the premises had been vandalised over the holidays, so that's thrown my body clock out. I have no idea what day it is today lol. I've managed to bag Charlie an extra preschool session too, so he now goes 3 sessions a week and that's just confused the days in my head even more.

Danielle surprised me this afternoon by actually agreeing to pose for some pics in the garden. All was going really well and I got a few good shots. I'm sharing this one though because, even though it's not as good as some of the others, this is typical Danielle - the clown!!
